Macon PE (Mathes Consulting SARL) was founded by Marie-France Mathes in early 2000 to provide independent PE advisory services, focusing on product launch and business development.M-F Mathes worked as an Investment Officer with Banque Paribas Capital Markets (London) , a Senior Investment Officer with the IFC/World Bank Group (Washington, DC) and a VP for Business Development with Baring Private Equity Partners (Brussels-London). Her latest position was Managing Partner and Co-Founder with Cam-NewMarkets, an Emerging Markets PE Fund of Funds. (Washington, DC) where she also held the position of Chairwoman of the Board and Member of the Investment Committee. M-F Mathes received degrees from Cambridge, UK, (M. Phil. in International Relations) and from Paris I, Pantheon-Sorbonne (M. Sc. in Economics).
